Immigrants and members of Technopark can get mortgage subsidies26 Feb 2010
The Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Victor Tolokonsky amended the decree 21 about soft mortgages. Now the program is extended to November 1, 2010. In addition, the amount of those who may receive compensation for a mortgage loan was expanded. Previous version of the decree restricted this range by those residents living in the territory of the Novosibirsk Region. Now, the compensation (up to 300 rubles as a down payment and 8% of the loan amount within 7 years) can be received by the Russians who come to the region within a program of voluntary resettlement, and employees of resident companies of Technopark of the Novosibirsk Academgorodok without permanent registration in the Novosibirsk Region. According to the regional department of information, adopted amendments extend the validity period of the decree until November 1, 2010. At the same time from 1 July the maximum amount of compensation of the initial fee will be changed up to 200,000 rubles and the period of subsidizing interest rates will be changed up to 5 years. In addition, from this date only subsidized housing placed into commission in 2010-2011 (now in 2008-2010) will be subsidized. The Head of the Department of Construction and Housing and community amenities Vladimir Anisimov said that since the commencement of the decree 1,659 people received grants, 559 people received them in 2010. 393.9 million rubles have been paid to recipients of grants from the regional budget. Today, 30 companies-residents of Technopark of the Novosibirsk Academgorodok employ more than 2100 people; about 50 people start their own business in a business incubator of Technopark. According to the regional department of labor and employment within the program of the voluntary resettlement of compatriots 215 people moved to Novosibirsk in the past year. Members of their families i.e. 197 people came together with them, among whom more than 100 children of preschool and school age.
